Delhi officially the National Capital
Territory of Delhi (NCT), in India is the largest metropolis and
the 2nd most populous metropolis in India. The city is believed
to be the site of Indraprastha, legendary capital of the
Pandavas in the Indian epic Mahabharata. NCT comprises of Delhi
, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad and Ghazibad.

Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi serves as the main
gateway for the city's domestic and international civilian air
traffic and is one of the busiest airports in South Asia.

By Train
Delhi is a major junction in the rail map of India and is the
headquarters of the Northern Railway. The five main railway
stations are New Delhi railway station, Old Delhi, Nizamuddin
Railway Station, Anand Vihar Railway Terminal and Sarai Rohilla.
By Road
Delhi is well connected by road with all major cities.

Hop on Hop off (HOHO) - Delhi Tourism has a "Hop On Hop Off (HOHO)"
bus service. Its a fleet of air conditioned low floored buses
following a pre-defined set of stops around the city. Passengers
can hop off the bus, see the place at one's own convenience and
hop on the next bus. The service runs on a 45 minute interval
and covers important monuments, memorials, museums and shopping
places in the city.
Qutab Minar - The Qutab Minar is located at a small village
called Mehrauli in South New Delhi. is the tallest brick minaret
in the world, and an important example of Indo-Islamic
Architecture. The tower is in the Qutb complex in South Delhi.
The Qutub Minar and its monuments are listed as a UNESCO World
Heritage Site..
Rajghat - Raj Ghat On the bank of the legendary Yamuna, which
flows past New Delhi, is Raj Ghat-the last resting place of
Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation.
Humayun's Tomb - Humayun's wife Haji Begum built his Tomb nine
years after his death. Designed by a Persian architect named
Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, and completed in 1565. (A world heritage

Lotus Temple - Lotus Temple Completed in 1986,the Bahai temple
is set amidst pools and gardens. Adherents of any faith are free
to visit the temple and pray or meditate silently according to
their own religion. The structure is in lotus shape so it often
called the lotus temple.
Red Fort - The Delhi Fort also known Lal Qila, meaning the Red
Fort, located in Delhi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Red
Fort stands at the eastern edge of Shahjahanabad, and gets its
name from the massive wall of red sandstone that defines its
four sides.

India Gate - A memorial inscribed with the names of the valiant
Indian soldiers who laid down their lives in World War I. The
green, velvety lawns at India Gate.
President's House - Much of New Delhi was planned by Edwin
Lutyens, Lutyens laid out the central administrative area of the
city as a testament to Britain's imperial pretensions. At the
heart of the city was the magnificent Rashtrapati Bhawan (then
known as Viceroy's House) which sat atop Raisina Hill – now the
residence of President of India.
Jama Masjid - Commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and
completed in the year 1656 AD Jama Masjid is the country's
largest mosque. It lies opposite the Red Fort and is surrounded
by a large number of shops, which deal in a variety of goods.
The mosque of Old Delhi is both the largest in India and the
final architectural extravagance of Shah Jahan with a courtyard
capable of holding 25,000 devotees
Connaught Place (CP) / Rajiv Chowk - It is the heart of New
Delhi. The British-designed shopping mall which is laid out in
two concentric rings divided into blocks, all bursting with
shops.
