Day 1 - Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi. Meeting and assist on arrival. Transfer to hotel for
the overnight stay in Delhi.
If time permits (Depending upon the flight)
visit Rajghat, Red Fort, Jama Masjid. Return to hotel for overnight
stay.
Day 02 - Delhi -
Agra
Today early morning we head towards the railway station and board the Shatabadi Express for Agra. On reaching Agra, proceed to the hotel.
Check in at the hotel and after some rest, set on a guided tour
of Agra City visiting
the world famous
Taj Mahal (UNESCO world
heritage site) built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjehan for his Queen
Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Later visit the Agra
Fort (UNESCO world heritage site) containing the Pearl Mosque, the
Halls of Public and Private Audience. Also visit the Tomb of
Itmad-ud-Daullah built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father.
Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 03 - Agra - Varanasi
On Day 03 of tour, proceed to Tundla railway station to board a
train for Varanasi. On arriving at Varanasi you would be met and
transfered to Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04 - Varanasi
The day begins with a boat ride on river
Ganges to see the sunrise. Later we return to hotel for breakfast.
After breakfast we set on a half day guided tour of Varanasi city.
Visit Vishwanath Temple dedicated to lord Shiva, New Vishwanath
Temple with Geeta engraved on its marble walls, Tulsi Manas Temple
and Banaras Hindu University. Later in the afternoon wevproceed to
famous Budhhist center-Sarnath and see Dhamek Stupa there. In the
evening return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 05 - Varanasi
- Bodhgaya
After an early breakfast
we proceed for Gaya. On reaching
Gaya, Check in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06 - Bodhgaya
Today morning
after breakfast we proceed to the Mahabodhi
Temple. Mahabodhi Temple is the place where Gautam Buddha got
supreme enlightenment under a Bodhi tree 25 centuries ago. In the
evening we return to
the hotel for overnight Stay.
Day 07 - Bodhgaya
- Rajgir - Nalanda - Patna
After an early breakfast
wecdrive to Patna. On the way to Patna,
visit Rajgir-the place where Gautam Buddha meditated and preached.
At Rajgir visit Gridharkuta Hill with its famous monastery venuvan
Vihar, built by king Bimbisara. We also visit the ruins of famous Nalanda University. On arriving Patna, check in at the hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 08 - Patna - Vaishali - Kushinagar
Today after
early breakfast we drive towards Kushinagar. Enroute visit Vaishali- the town wear Buddha
announced his approaching Nirvana. On reaching Kushinagar
(the place
where Buddha attained Mahaparinirvana)
check in at the hotel and
after some rest, head on a tour of famous monasteries. Return to the
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 09 - Kushinagar - Lumbini
On Day 09 after a early breakfast leave for Lumbini in Nepal. On reaching Lumbini, check in at the hotel in
Bhairawan. In the afternoon set on a guided tour of
Lumbini-the
birthplace of Gautam Buddha. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10 - Lumbini
- Balrampur
Today we proceed for Balarampur after breakfast.
Enroute we visit
the ancient capital-Kapilvastu. On reaching Balrampur, proceed for
the hotel. Check in at the hotel and after some rest visit Sravasti
in the afternoon. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 11-Balrampur
- Lucknow
Today after an
early breakfast we proceed to Lucknow. On arriving Lucknow- city of Nawabs created by Asaf Ud
Daula, weccheck in at the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 12 -
Lucknow - Delhi
Today after an early breakfast we go for a guided tour of Lucknow
visiting Bara Imambara built by Nawab Asaf Ud Daula, Chhota Imambara
and Museum. After lunch we proceed for the railway station to board
Shatabadi Express for Delhi. On reaching Delhi, head towards the
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 13 - Delhi
After early breakfast sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Visit
Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar, India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhawan,
Akshardham, Parliament House and Rajpath. Return to the hotel. In the evening
head for the airport to board flight for the onward destination.
